SKIM Y SCAN (TEORÍA) Skim y scan son un par de las muchas técnicas de lectura, pero con muchas diferencias entre ellas. Utilizamos skimming cuando queremos leer algo rápido para tener una idea general. Estas aplicando skimming cuando: Lees el índice Lees los títulos y subtítulos Lees las primeras y ultimas oraciones Ves cualquier imagen o grafico Estamos scanning cuando queremos leer algo rápido para encontrar una idea específica, una palabra o una información. Estas scanning si: Buscas las palabras clave relacionadas a tu tópico Lees las "negritas" y las "cursivas" Buscas palabras largas Puedes usar la técnica skim si estas viendo un libro antes de comprarlo o si estas leyendo a través de un periódico o una revista . Puedes usar la técnica scan si quieres responder a una pregunta especifica o si estas buscando un número o buscando en el diccionario.

SKIM AND SCAN  (THEORY) Skim and scan are a couple of so many reading techniques, but with so much differents between each other.  We skimming when we want to read something quickly to get a general idea. You are Skimming if you:  Read the table of contents Read headings and subheadings Read the opening and closing sentences of paragraphs  Look at any ilustrations or graphic features  When Scanning you want to read something quickly to find a specific idea, word (keyword) or information.
